How To Solve Your Problem With Affirmations [double entendre intended]

Affirmations1Didn’t know you had one?  Ask yourself these questions: Are your affirmations written down and do you repeat them consistently at least twice daily?  Are you getting the results you want?  Have they come from within, or do they feel external to you, disconnected from your true self?  Do you really believe them, or are you just going through the motions?  Do you understand the connection between who and what you are NOW and the implicit/explicit affirmations that got you there?

This epiphany occurred to me walking on the beach path at 5:00 AM one morning: For affirmations to be meaningful and impactful, they must be inspired from within, resonate with your values, be visualized as the fulfillment of your true potential, and even ritualized in a private ceremony of transformation.

You cannot simply adopt someone else’s set of affirmations and expect them to have the power and impact of those you create for yourself.

genie1Affirmations2Now, I do repeat a set of affirmations daily that was created by T. Harv Eker to accompany his Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, as I have internalized these as my own and they meet my other criteria above.  It is my goal and intention to build great wealth in tribute to God’s abundance, and that I may become the genie in the bottle for other entrepreneurs looking to jumpstart their enterprise.

In my 3-CD Series, “Secrets to Monetizing Your Niche: Advanced Mindset, Business Development, and Sales & Marketing Strategies for Pursuing Your Passion for Profit,” I derive 26 Affirmations from the content of the CDs.  Here they are.  I invite you to pick up to 9 from this list that resonate with you, then add 1 or more of your own to create your personal “10 Daily Driving Disciplines.”

Jim. This had to be one of the best posts I've ever read on affirmations. Look forward to more of your writing.

One of my affirmations: "I am wisely managing the thousands of dollars that are flowing into my account on a daily basis."

    Hey Jim,
These are great affirmations! It's funny how we start to believe our affirmations once we say them long enough...and then start to come true.

I am one who did the affirmations for a month or so and then felt like "nothing changed" and so I quit being as diligent about it. But now, - as I look back, the amazing things in my life that have happened, including a new job, have been in major part due to my attitude which I trace back to those affirmations. Thanks for posting this - I'm going to start back up again and be consistent. The cool thing is that I can make my own and change them as I need to. Doesn't take a lot of emotional energy to read those aloud to myself every day...

I haven't done affirmations before. I have always been confident and carry that from within. Also, i do not seek abundance. Just sufficiency. But when I saw your list it made me think, it would do me no harm to try ten and see. I am in the throes of a huge project and I need all the help going. Hi Jim,

I recently picked up a good habit that somehow fell by the wayside. I begin my day and end my day with my personalized affirmations read aloud.

Now, throughout the day when obstacles arise, I can actually hear my own voice repeating one of the affirmations that is applicable to the situation and it helps bring me right back on track.

Looking forward to our call tomorrow.
